The NoName Trio are a three-piece consisting of pianist Ceri Evans, bassist Saleh Zarei and percussionist Ali Nourbakhsh.
They play a fusion of jazz and traditional Iranian music, and while I don’t know much about them, the clips I’ve heard online have been very impressive.
They’re playing at St John’s Church, on the corner of Princes Street and Lothian Road in Edinburgh on the 24th and 25th. The show starts at 6pm and tickets are £12.
